For Carmike Cinemas, the design was slimmed down in loading time to handle the 2 million+ visitors a month the site recieves. Aesthetically, the colors and design are more appealing and inviting with easier-to-read content. Many new, helpful intuitive features allow for easier movie searches of any Carmike theater within just a couple of clicks. In addition, movie-goers are allowed to sign up for weekly showtimes from their favorite theaters - all sent efficiently through email.

An overall cheerful, friendly feel with lighter colors replaces the dark, brooding color scheme, freeing the page space rather than confining it. In addition, richer, clearer, more defined imagery is used throughout the site. More pages were added, allowing content to be less crowded.
